CHALLENGE

Founded in 1995, Trina Turk is a print and color driven lifestyle brand, celebrating California style with chic women’s ready-to- wear and accessories, plus swimwear, eyewear, paper goods, menswear, and residential goods.

Trina Turk connected with XGen Ai through Teamwork Commerce to increase revenue and AOV. Since they tend to drive media to New Arrivals, their team wanted to try exposing customers to potential incremental sales opportunities.

SOLUTION

Trina Turk deployed individually curated product recommendations (Smart Elements) to their Shopping Cart, PLP, PDP, Homepage, and 404 Page.

Rather than taking the traditional personalization route of segmenting groups of customers who may all have different tastes and preferences, XGen Ai enabled Trina Turk to cater to each unique visitor.

As a result, both new and returning customers were matched with the most relevant products available which, in turn, had a positive effect on conversions, AOV, and overall revenue.

From Sept 14, 2021 to Sept 28, 2021, XGen Ai recommendations outperformed the standard product listings in AOV (+12%), Purchases (+14%), and Revenue (+18%) on Trina Turk’s site.

New & Returning Users

New users that interacted with XGen Ai recommendations had +14% AOV, +17% Purchases, and +26% Revenue over non-curated products.

Returning users that interacted with XGen Ai recommendations had +6% AOV, +32% Purchases, and +27% Revenue over non-curated products.
